1C- How will this brief give me the chance to develop my skills as a Media Practitioner?

Self development:
When looking into the different skills I am taking on when following and looking into a brief, I feel like I am gaining knowledge of Media contracts and legal documents that are important and necessary in the Media industry. With this I gain more experience and understanding of what the Media industry is like behind the camera.

Putting this onto my CV will broaden my Media skills and knowladge that will be more effective when showing it to potential employers, showing the different professional skills I have picked up from different meetings with clients, sticking to a time limit and work load schedule to keep the client happy. Also learning the different terminology for different briefs and research helping me develop my all over Media skill. Also improving my basic skills like teamwork and leadership, which also come in handy when taking on future projects.

Whilst developing the project, you pick up more skills relating to filming and editing by using certain techniques that are mainly used for that type of video.

Here is a section of my CV that I put together in year 12; I have not put any skills about my Media development over the year of study in this course. When learning the different skills in this brief I could start to put together a CV with more in depth information of what I am capable of doing in the Media industry and how I can conduct certain Media techniques, for example how I have developed and broadened my research skills, which will help me in later projects that I will take on. How I can deal with a client in a professional standard.    

I believe I will gain and train up my communication skills when pitching to my client and my partner, as well as collecting research skills when looking into different corporate videos and different codes and conventions. When thinking and putting together different ideas will I believe will enhance my planning skills that I can use in future projects by creating and putting together storyboards and shot lists. When me and my partner have finalised our production and edited to a standard the client would like I also could include in my CV how I have gained more experience and skill with filming and working on a production, which will come in handy when I take on future projects later in life. 

When creating this video for my client I will be using digital Media, which helps me with using different types of Media in other projects I will work on, my creativity also thrive when spending time on this project by thinking and coming up with different ideas to create an interesting production for my client. During my pitch I would hope to work on my song 

I believe that i will gain many skills that I can add to my CV to create a very interesting base and skills list for different Media employees. Due to me taking on this project my research skills have improved because of the different briefs I had to look into to have a better knowledge of the project himself. Because of this my research skills have become quicker and easier to point out.

I have also gained knowledge a quick understanding on how to use digital Media like: Blogger, Premier Pro, storyboard and scripts on special Media programs, which has helped me become quicker when starting new projects.
