4th interview

For my final interview I will be using the form of a filmed entertainment interview, which is distributed onto a YouTube channel called 'Amelia's corner'. This channel interviews young upcoming filmmakers sharing their opinions and work to the subscribers of this channel. I will be asking different questions to the interviewee, which are open questions allowing her to go into detail and express her opinions and share her experiences.

I will be interviewing Doriana Hax on her new production 'Picture perfect' , which raises awareness for the issue domestic violence. The channel I will be placing this interview on is aimed at a young teen audience for both men and women allowing me to use a colloquial tone towards the interviewee.

I will be asking different questions about her new production and her reasons why for creating a video about this issue and also about what filming means to her in general.

Questions to interviewee  

How did you pick this subject of domestic violence to raise awareness about?
What inspired you to create this video? What other production inspired you?
Wnting to know her research, is is a issue that she came up with? was it something personal to her
Where the stories of your production from real life situations or did you create them yourself?
Is there anything you would like to change about your production?
If filmmaking something you want to carry on in the future?
What position would you like to take up if you did become part of the film industry?

All questions asked are open questions. I wanted to find out if there is a reason for her choice in issue selection, seeing if there is something deeper for her to share. A personal story? Allowing an audience to be intrigued entertaining them and keeping them interested. Due to this being a informal interview on a YouTube channel I elaborated my questions creating a relaxed 'chatty' tone allowing the interview to be relaxed and comfortable for both the interviewer and interviewee. I also asked about her own channel promotion and giving her information so others can view her production.

Here is a YouTuber's channel that I looked into when trying to film my own production. A colloquial relaxed tone is also used in this interview because of the target audience that they are trying to aim at. They also are wearing bright colourful clothes again creating a comfortable atmosphere for them both and an audience watching.





I tried to create a similar production, which could replicate the same atmosphere and mood that other YouTubers create. I used a relaxed tone as well as wore my own casual clothes allowing my mood to be relatable to the teen audience I am targeting.

3rd interview purpose

For my third interview package I will be using the form of a Newspaper article form the newspaper the 'Guardian', to interview a Head of department Mrs Ogularbi from Acland burghley school. Using the interview time to talk about her time within a secondary school and how school children deal with certain aspects of education. The format I will be using to reproduce this project will be the style of a Newspaper article that shows text of the interviewee without the questions being shown to a reader.

I would like to place this within the 'Guardian', they both have online a paper versions of their material giving easy access to their material. I believe that my interview context will suit well with this Newspaper because of the topic of education via a teacher at a secondary school, giving their opinion on how things could change also showing a serious formal tone.

To show a professional style of interview, I will be looking into different questions that will benefit the reader and create interest. I will be interested in her own opinions of children's behaviour and how her teaching style works with her students.

Questions for the interview
This article is going to be shown to a reader as one big answer from the interviewee, sharing their opinions without questions. Because of this I will be collecting the answers from my interviewee, using a formal tone expecting a professional tone within the answers.

What was the first teaching job you had in London?
Did you always want to be a teacher?
Why do you teach Media?
Are you a strict teacher in your Media classes?
How do you deal with with children who misbehave?
Do you think Media is a relaxed subject?
What would a child gain from studying Media?
What aspects do you learn when studying Media?
Why should a student pick Media as a subject?

Here are some of the questions that I will be asking the interviewee, allowing her to elaborate more on the questions and her views.

Each question I ask I would like to be a open question allowing the interviewee to elaborate and share her opinions on the questions being asked allowing a reader to really get to know the personal side to the interviewee and her reasons why she become a teacher educating a reader about her preferences  and experiences, which lead to her opinion on Media and her teaching. I also made sure each question is made clear so when it is answered by the interviewee a reader is able to understand the answers without the questions.

With this format I also tried to replicate features of Guardian articles to show a similar and professional article for a reader.With this I tried to show the same layout using the Guardian heading, which is familiar for Guardian readers.

I also tried to use the same font, font side and structure to again show a professional layout. A picture of the interviewee is also placed in the article as well as the adverts that are placed around the border of the main piece.

2nd purpose of interview and questions asked

For my second interview package I will be using the form of a fashion Magazine, to interview a young teen fashion blogger about her fashion choices this summer. The format I will be using to reproduce this project will be the style of a magazine interview article, creating questions and showing answers of the interviewee I am interviewing for the buyer of this magazine.

I would like to place this article within the fashion magazine 'Cosmopolitan'; they have both online and paper versions of their material showing a wide audience that they reach out to. I believe that my interview context will suit well with the magazine because of their relaxed nature towards topics and their colloquial tone directed at a younger female audience.

To show a professional style of interview I will be looking into different questions that will benefit the reader and create interest. I will be looking into what she likes to wear, how she wears it. Looking into her own blog and what celebrities have inspired her and how she has reproduced their outfits. 

Questions for the interview
I am going to start with a friendly intro, using a colloquial tone to create comfort and introduce the interviewee to the reader. I will then be asking her most liked fashion trends allowing her to give brief ideas on different outfits allowing a stepping stool not the next question for how she would wear these certain outfits.

- ''I Understand your love of fashion, because I am a regular viewer of your blog 'Passion for Fashion'. But I would like to ask what are the hottest trends out for you this summer? What catches your eye?''

Then I will start asking her about different styles, going into more detail the kind of clothes she likes, allowing her to share the colours and patterns she likes allowing visual imagery for a reader. This also allows her to start putting together outfits she believes looks good create more talk with the clothes she likes.

"So crop tops are in for you right now? Are there certain styles. Long sleeves? Short sleeves? What do you prefer?''
Asking her about how she styles her tops, allowing her to re create a summer outfit she is drawn to most, allowing a reader to visualise and try to find similar products that she describes, allowing her to go into why she wears them and how it effects her body heat in summer. 

‘’I believe you do most if not all of your shopping on the high street stores?''

I then begin to ask these questions about online shopping, looking at other ways that this fashion blogger likes to shop, allowing others to use her methods and see different ways they can shop.  Giving information on the different online shops she buys from.

‘’So since the sun is shining this summer, what are your go to shoes? Are you a sneaker girl or do you turn to sandals?”

I then go back into looking into her certain styles for this summer, letting her talk about what shoes that she wears in summer, again giving a reader an insight on what she likes to wear.

Tell me more about your ‘summer go to’ on your blog you talk and show a lot of Boho fashion and accessories’’

I then linked it back to her blog, asking her to explain her recent posts. Brining up a certain fashion that it fashionable at the time, allowing her to bring up certain celebrities that she admires, which a reader could relate to.

“Do you look to any celebrity fashion icons?”

Here she explains again the women that she looks up to when it comes to fashion, allowing a reader to looks into the certain fashion that she follows and how she puts certain outfits together.

Here is an article from the magazine 'Cosmopolitan'. I tried to replicate the same format as this article, making the questions a different colour to the questions given.

Seen from this example the questions asked are in bold and are coloured with hot pink. To show this comparison I also tired to use the same hot pick colour to outline my questions that I've asked. I also tried to use the same hot pink colour scheme throughout my article to show a constant flow throughout.

I also added a quote from the article, which I believe sums up the articles theme as a whole. This also compares to the real article for the Cosmopolitan magazine again linking it to the same colour scheme to show consistency throughout.
